The orchid is a popular houseplant. The plant comes in many types and colours. Thanks to its exuberant flowering, it is loved by young and old plant lovers.

What is this suitable for:
Culvita Orchid Soil is the most perfect growing medium for Orchids. Due to its special structure and coarseness it offers excellent water permeability.

What not suitable for:
Due to the coarseness of this mixture (structure), this product cannot be used on other plants.

Features:
When composing Culvita Orchid Soil, strict requirements are set for the selected raw materials. Only raw materials that meet the manufacturer's standards are used. For example, bark has been added to this product. Bark is the bark of the Pinus Maritiem (French maritime pine). This is added to keep the mixture sufficiently airy, which is a requirement for the Orchid.

Application:

Culvita Orchid Soil is used for potting and repotting Orchids.
After three years of growth the orchid should be repotted, preferably after the growth period. Use a slightly larger pot.

• Cut away any dead or rotten pieces of root.
• Fill the pot with orchid soil and place the plant in it.
• Press the soil firmly so that the plant stands firmly and water.
• If the plant is too big, it is possible to divide the plant. Pot both parts as described above. Provide at least three shoots per pot.
• Orchid food is recommended.

Although this product contains a fertilizer, it will be necessary to fertilize after a while. This depends on the needs of your plants. Use the Culvita Orchid Food for this.
