1. Description

The Calathea is a striking green houseplant that is known for its unique and colorful leaf patterns. This houseplant often has a combination of green with dark and light shades and the underside of the leaves is often a beautiful purple. This makes the Calathea a real eye-catcher in any interior.

This houseplant comes from the tropical regions of South America and grows there in the shady undergrowth of the rainforest. In its natural habitat, the Calathea benefits from the humid and protected environment, which should be taken into account when caring for it at home.

This plant is also called 'medallion' because of the round shape of the leaves, which resemble a medallion.

Although the care of this houseplant is quite simple, the Calathea is considered a kind of diva among houseplants. It has special requirements for light and humidity, but with a little attention and care, everyone can enjoy its beautiful leaves.

Delivered together with a Viber pot. The pot is made of bioplastic with elephant grass from Dutch soil. The pot is biodegradable and naturally colored by chalk. Due to the light natural color this pot fits in different interiors.

    We do not accept returns for flowers and plants due to their perishable nature as outlined in EU consumer rights legislation. Should there be a problem with your order, please contact us immediately. For other items, you can return them within 14 days of the invoice date, provided they are undamaged and in their original packaging. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. Refunds will be processed within 3 working days of receipt of your return.
